About The Black Ledger
Someone has to keep the records.
Our Mission
The Black Ledger exists because accountability requires memory. In an industry where narratives shift daily and yesterday's scandal becomes tomorrow's forgotten footnote, we maintain the permanent record.
We document cryptocurrency misconduct, fraud allegations, project collapses, and the individuals behind them. Our archive serves researchers, journalists, regulators, and community members seeking to understand the patterns of behavior that have cost investors billions.
We do not celebrate failures. We record them—so they cannot be repeated unnoticed.
Independence
We accept no sponsorships from cryptocurrency projects. Our funding comes from community support and the $TBL token. Editorial decisions are never influenced by financial considerations.
Transparency
Every case file includes its evidence, sources, and verification status. We distinguish between verified facts, ongoing investigations, and unconfirmed allegations.
Community-Driven
Our archive grows through community submissions. Anonymous tips, on-chain analysis, and investigative reports from contributors worldwide form the backbone of our records.
Accuracy
We employ rigorous verification processes. Cases marked "Verified" have been independently confirmed. We correct errors promptly and maintain version histories.
How It Works
Submission
Anyone can submit a tip through our anonymous submission form. Provide as much detail as possible: contract addresses, wallet links, screenshots, and contextual information.
Investigation
Our team and community contributors analyze submissions. We trace on-chain transactions, verify claims against public records, and reach out to involved parties when appropriate.
Community Assessment
Published cases are subject to community voting. Members can mark cases as Credible, Suspicious, or False. High consensus cases receive additional editorial review.
Permanent Record
Verified cases become part of our permanent archive. Updates, corrections, and new developments are appended. Nothing is deleted—only contextualized.
$TBL Token
GOVERNANCEThe $TBL token powers The Black Ledger ecosystem. Token holders can participate in governance votes, stake to become verified contributors, and earn rewards for accurate case submissions.
Token utility is purely for platform governance and contributor incentives. We make no claims about investment potential or future value.
